2) National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) Applicants in the United States can take the NMAT in the Philippine Embassy in New York or Los Angeles, CA. The NMAT is given twice a year (usually in February and October ).

- Enclose an application and filing fee of sixty dollars ($60.00)

4) Personal interview: - Notice for personal interview is issued to an applicant whose credentials submitted with the application form have been found acceptable. This is determined by the CIM Admissions Committee who evaluates all applications for admission to CIM. Interviews are usually scheduled in November, however, earlier date may be set if a need arises.
- The personal interview is a pre-requisite to a final decision for admission. A telephone interview cannot substitute for a personal interview. The face-to-face interview will enable the Committee to assess the attitude and outlook of the applicant. It will likewise provide the applicant an opportunity to view the school and its environment, meet CIM students and decide whether his expectations are met.
5) Student Visa - This is processed when the applicant is accepted.
ACCOMODATION OF FOREIGN MEDICAL STUDENTS FOR THEIR INTERNATIONAL ELECTIVES
A number of foreign medical students have spent their international electives with CIM. Such elective is spent only in the Department of Family and Community Medicine in their community medicine track at the primary care facilities in the Community MedicoSocial Services, Primary Care Lying-In Center in Pakna-an, Mandaue City about 10 kilometers from the CIM school campus.
Prospective students should direct all inquiries to the office of the Dean of CIM about their intention of spending their elective at CIM.
