This coming September 15-16, 2011, the CIM Family will warmly welcome the Accrediting Team of the PAASCU. This undertaking is in keeping with the school’s thrust and culture of excellence. We are very upbeat that the deficiencies noted from the previous visit have been addressed partially or in full. Among the notable improvements are in the Physical Plant.To name a few, there are 9 renovated and fully functional small group discussion (SGD) rooms at the 3rd
floor as well as the Lao Hall which compose three 40-capacity small conference
rooms.The CIM Library has also been recently renovated and air-conditioned. More renovations are scheduled this coming summer. There have been an increasing number of enrollees the past 2 school years and we welcome the expanding pool of talented CIM students, whom the institution looks forward to as the future addition of the CIM family of physicians with a heart. The CIM Faculty has been growing as well; the Staff is a rich interbreed of the wisened and experienced as well as the fresh and dynamic. Kudos to the patient and persistent efforts of the Core Committees, headed overall by Dr. Virginia P. Mesola.
APMC Goes to CIM

For the 2nd
time in 45 annual conventions, the APMC will be held at our very own
grounds.This year’s theme is: Professionalism in Medical Education, in keeping with a very important and dynamic aspect of our noble profession. Medical Professionalism- its essence, formation through the medical curriculum, and its application in medical practice will be tackled in this convention.At the helm of the Organizing Committee are our very vibrant alumni, Dr. Pek Eng Lim and Dr. Celine T. Aquino, ably supported by our beloved Dean Dr. Thelma La Rosa-Fernandez, Dr. Corazon T. Meneses chairing the Scientific Committee and Dr. Virginia P. Mesola as Convention Secretary. The event is envisioned to be a “meeting of great minds” where sharing of knowledge and experience will definitely bring about an enriching activity that will foster more camaraderie and support among
