Policy on Transferees

The curriculum of the Cebu Institute of Medicine is Problem-Based Learning. As such, the school seldom allows transferees to its higher years. Since the first-year curriculum is a Horizontally Integrated Basic Medical Science Course, transferees are only allowed into Year Level 2. This will also allow the student to have at least 75% of the learning experience with our institution.

Only those who are exceptional and have a very valid reason for transfer are given the opportunity and the privilege to transfer. We also do not accept transferees who failed from another school.
