How to Apply to the Regular Medicine Program
It is important that the applicant must be aware of the qualifications to apply to the program of medicine of the Cebu Institute of Medicine before they submit all requirements.

Obtain Transcript of Academic Records
Obtain a Letter of Reference from Two Professors
Obtain a Letter of Reference from two professors of your college.
Recommendation letters must attest to the applicant's moral character, personal integrity, and academic aptitude. Letters must bear the official school letterhead and the official academic email address of the professor making the recommendation.
Secure a Certificate of Good Moral Character
The Certificate of Good Moral Character is a document separate from the two letters of reference from Faculty. The Certificate of Good Moral Character must be an official signed document from either of the following:

• The Guidance Counselor
• The Dean or Head of the Student Affairs Services/Office
• The College Dean
Attach a Copy of Your NMAT
Attach a copy of your NMAT to the application form.
The NMAT must have been take not more two (2 ) years from time of admissions
The NMAT must reflect a percentile score of at least 70% for local applicants, and 90% for foreign students or students who graduated from foreign HEI's.
Attach a Copy of the PRC Board Rating (if applicable)
This is only asked from those applicants who have already taken the Professional Regulation Commission Licensure Examinations, otherwise, skip this requirement.
Create ONE PDF File for All Documents
Have all documents (steps 1-5) as ONE PDF FILE to avoid data loss. This is very important.
Make filename as Family name followed by initials and date submitted [Family name Initials_ mm/dd/yyyy]
EXAMPLE: Robredo LG_03252027
Make sure the file size is not greater than 15 Mb.
Pay the Application Fee and Upload Proof of Payment
The schedule for the application processing fee is as follows:
• Local students: ₱1,500.00
• Foreign students: $100 (equivalent in pesos)

Schedule an Interview and Personality Testing
Applicant must schedule an interview and Personality Testing with the Admissions Committee secretariat. The admission Secretariat has the prerogative to reschedule the applicant depending on the availability of interviewers.
Keep Original Physical Copy of Documents
Please keep original copies of your document for enrollment purposes: You will be required to submit original document upon enrollment .
Notice of Acceptance
Candidates selected for admission will be notified of their acceptance starting January 27, 2027, through phone AND officially by email within seven (7) days from the scheduled deliberation day.
Enrollment Process
All accepted applicants shall receive instructions for enrollment. This shall be sent along with the letter of acceptance.

Interview
A personal interview is an essential part of the selection process. All applicants should have their interview no later than the last day of the Processing Period for Application.
The applicant shall set an appointment for an interview, upon evaluation of his/her documents. The applicant shall be advised by the Admissions Office Secretariat shall be sent to the applicant for him/her to schedule an appointment.
